About the role
The Specialist Operations Risk DNAP leads the development and implementation of the Management Systems that integrate risk and safety for Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific. The position seeks to provide technical advice on risk management initiatives to ensure alignment with organisational goals and improve business performance. The role leads the development and continuous improvement of DNAP's risk and control management culture and systems.
Key responsibilities
- Implementation and management of DNAP's Risk management systems and processes, ensuring compliance with applicable Standards, objectives, Acts and Regulations.
- Lead continuous improvement, development and implementation of DNAP's standardised risk management processes aligned to the broader DNAP Risk Framework.
- Provide direction to support and influence business unit ownership of safety and risk operating plans, ensuring risk and hazard management.
- Provide Business Unit Red Risk and material risk oversight and analysis of trends, including management of Red Risks.
- Lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of the Operations Risk Management Program.
- Identify critical controls to manage material risks and maintain the critical control management program, including improvement and governance of Critical Control Verifications (CCVs).
About you
- Committed to positively contributing to a safe, inclusive and high-performance culture.
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in HSE, Risk, Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in a safety or risk management role, preferably with experience facilitating risk workshops.
- Experience managing an integrated risk management system and continuous improvement of HSE management systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking ability.
- Strong understanding of Process Safety Requirements (Desirable).
