My Client is currently seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join a major FMG project delivering large-scale bulk and detailed earthworks.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a solid civil construction background and proven experience managing projects valued between $10M and $50M.

Previous FMG experience and current/previous FMG site inductions will be highly regarded and are preferred.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of the project, managing the operational, commercial, financial and contractual aspects from commencement through to completion.

You will work closely with the client, engineering, construction and project controls teams to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end delivery of civil projects valued between $10M–$50M.
- Oversee bulk and detailed earthworks packages and associated civil works.
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
- Monitor project costs, revenue, margins and overall commercial performance.
- Prepare, compile and submit progress claims and variations.
- Develop and maintain accurate cashflow forecasts.
- Monitor project quantities, productivity and financial performance against budget.




- Manage project schedules, programs and key project milestones.
- Work closely with Project Controls to ensure accurate reporting, forecasting and cost management.
- Coordinate engineering, construction, procurement, subcontractors and site teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with the FMG client team and key project stakeholders.
- Lead client meetings, progress reviews and commercial discussions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Demonstrated experience as a Civil Project Manager within major construction, mining or infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience delivering bulk and detailed earthworks.
- Proven experience managing projects valued between $10M–$50M.
- Previous FMG project experience and site inductions preferred.
- Strong commercial and financial management skills.
- Experience with progress claims, variations and cashflow forecasting.
- Strong project controls and scheduling experience.
- Excellent client liaison and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and project delivery.
- An engineering background is preferred but not essential.
- Previous renewables experience will be highly regarded
