Join the South Australian Country Fire Service (SACFS) and the State Bushfire Coordination Committee (SBCC) as a Bushfire Management Planning Officer, where you will play a key role in undertaking bushfire risk management and stakeholder engagement across the state.
Working as part of a dedicated team of Bushfire Management Planning Officers, you will collaborate with a diverse range of partners, including First Nations communities, government agencies, local government, industry representatives, volunteers, and community stakeholders. Through facilitation, engagement and planning, you will help build shared understanding and coordinated action to reduce bushfire risk.

these plans provide the framework for more than 97 member organisations to work together in delivering coordinated bushfire risk mitigation activities across the state through a shared responsibility approach.
If you are passionate about strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, collaboration and making a meaningful difference, we encourage you to apply.
This is an prospect to make a tangible contribution to community safety, environmental resilience and the protection of life, property and the environment. The work you undertake will help shape long-term bushfire management outcomes and support safer, more resilient communities across South Australia.
