We are currently seeking a Possessions Coordinator to join the Logan Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGCFR) Project, a transformative rail infrastructure program that will redefine passenger rail travel between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Delivered by the ActivUs Alliance, this landmark project will expand the rail corridor from two to four tracks between Kuraby and Beenleigh, while delivering major station upgrades, enhanced signalling systems and improved network capacity for South East Queensland.

The Opportunity

Coordinate the implementation of the Rail Package work in the rail corridor following the ActivUs Rail Access Management Plan (RAMP) and Queensland Rail SCAS standards / requirements. Ensuring all submissions meet the required timeframe to execute work in LGCR extended and weekend possessions and QR weekend maintenance possessions, where required, incorporate the implementation of the 3rd parties works within possessions.

Facilitate and coordinate planning and booking arrangements for all work within the Rail Corridor including external resource requirements along with QR resource requirements and possessions bid submissions.

Key responsibilities

- Interface with Queensland Rail and the Activus Delivery Team to arrange corridor access both possession & non-possession and bookings and resources.

- Work directly with delivery teams to find best for project interface solutions between competing desciplines (Civil/Stations/ Rail and 3rd parties)

- Possession planning and management of the Activus & QR T-minus process





- Tracking and reporting as per the requiements set out within the ActivUs RAMP.

- Tracking and reporting on QR resource costs (i.e. Protection Officers)

- Encouraging an environment of sharing knowledge and ideas to ensure continous improvements within the team

- Actively liaising with the client to ensure they are kept up to date and their ongoing satisfaction throughout project delivery

- Understand requirements for working in the QR corridor, working closlely with delivery teams to develop strategies to minimise risk in the corridor

- Support strategies to maximise opportunities for works within corridor to enable handover whilst minimising disruption

- Interfacing with Rail/Stations/Civil and 3rd parties to ensure possessions are maximised for CIM dates

- Assist with Planning and scheduling work to minimise impacts to stakeholders

- Work effective with delivery teams to effectivly plan Protection Officer utilisation to enable safe and productive work within the corridor

- Lead and actively participate in SCAS possession planning meetings

- Coordinate with Supervisors and Superintendents

- Work closely with General Superintendent to ensure construction teams are prepared for all SCAS works

About You

- Minimum 4 years of experience in Rail Infrastructure Possessions with proven ability to integrate, schedule, and monitor integrated shutdowns and manage disruptions





- Experience with managing details risk management plans that fulfill safety and operational requirements

- Knowledge Queensland Rail SEQ network, and SCAS planning requirements

- Strong communication, negotiation, people management skills to manage client and stakeholder relationships

- Proven experience in possession planning within a complex transport environment

- Detail-orientated with a focus on accuracy in planning, documentation, and reporting

- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt dynamic project environments
