About the role

Trove Salon is seeking a committed 2nd/3rd Year Hairdressing Apprentice to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. This is a full-time apprenticeship position based at our salon in Stafford Heights. As a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice, you will be progressing through your hairdressing qualification whilst working under the mentorship of experienced stylists. This role is integral to your development as a qualified hairdresser and offers the opportunity to build practical skills, client relationships and confidence in a supportive salon environment.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting senior hairdressers with a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments

- Learning and practising advanced cutting and colouring techniques under supervision

- Maintaining a clean and hygienic workstation and salon environment

- Greeting clients in a friendly and professional manner and ensuring their comfort during services

- Building product knowledge and recommending appropriate hair care products to clients

- Supporting the team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain salon standards

- Attending training sessions and completing coursework related to your apprenticeship qualification

What we're looking for

- Currently enrolled in and progressing through a recognised hairdressing apprenticeship (2nd or 3rd year)

- Demonstrated passion for the hair and beauty industry

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients

- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude towards learning and development





- A willingness to take direction and learn from experienced stylists

- Willingness to support and celebrate the wins and growths of your own and your team

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards

- Preferred experience: Previous experience in a salon environment or retail customer service
