About the Opportunity

Emanate Technology are working with a high-performing Australian defence technology team to hire a DevSecOps Engineer. Delivering innovative software solutions in a secure and complex environment. As the organisation continues to grow, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and solve challenging technical problems that deliver real-world impact.

What You Will Be Doing

- Designing, implementing and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Integrating security controls and testing throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Developing and maintaining cloud and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Supporting containerised applications and platform services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitoring, assessing and remediating vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Collaborating with software engineers, cyber security specialists and systems engineers to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
- Contributing to continuous improvement, automation and DevSecOps best practices.

About You

We're looking for engineers who are passionate and collaborative.

You'd ideally have:

- A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related field
- Experience in Software Engineering, DevOps or DevSecOps environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms and automation practices
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code technologies
- Knowledge of secure software development and cloud security principles
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and agile environments
- Currently holding an AGSVA security clearance
