We are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join a busy transport depot in Mackay. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused operator looking for ongoing casual work.

About the Role

- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently within a busy transport depot
- Load and unload trucks and trailers
- Move, stack and organise freight throughout the depot
- Assist with the receival and dispatch of freight
- Conduct pre-start forklift checks and report any faults or hazards
- Ensure freight is handled and secured appropriately
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Follow all workplace procedures, traffic management plans and safety requirements
- Work effectively as part of a busy transport team

About You

- Current and valid forklift licence (LF)
- Proven counterbalance forklift operating experience
- Previous experience in a transport, freight or warehouse environment highly regarded
- Robust health and safety awareness
- Reliable,



punctual and committed to safe work practices
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically capable of working in a busy depot environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required

What's on Offer

- $47.21 per hour
- Casual position
- Afternoon shift – 3:00 PM start
- ASAP commencement
