- AO6 Project Manager
- $79.17 per hour + superannuation

- ASAP start to March 2027 with highly likely rolling contract

- Travel/ Work at various correction sites in SEQ at least three days a week (Flexible, WFH or office based other days).
About the Role:
Strategically project manage multiple capital programs, and monitor, report and analyse program progress against agreed budgets and delivery plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project scope, cost monitoring and proposal preparation
- Project management of site-based projects for key customers
- Identify potential project blockers early and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Establish and maintain an effective network of internal and external stakeholders. You will need clearly communicate with executive leadership and governance committee issues and resolutions.
- Be responsible for identifying that the business system tool (Ellipse) data integrity is correctly maintained and immediately address any issues.
- Manage and coordinate all elements associated with the planning and delivery of Programs.
- Coordinate a range of activities simultaneously and use resources, systems and processes effectively and efficiently to accomplish goals.
Mandatory position requirements:
- Able to be cleared via Police checks to work in a custodial environment
- Travel/ Work at various correction sites in SEQ at least three days a week (Adaptable, WFH or office based other days).
- Demonstrated experience in managing high-risk contracts, ensuring compliance, reliability, and operational efficiency to facilities
- C Class Drivers Licence.
Additional requirements and/or highly desirable skills:
- Experience in project management in correctional facilities, delivering capital projects.
- Experience in managing maintenance programs (building/construction, facilities maintenance) in a building industry and/or public sector environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with a business enterprise system (knowledge of Ellipse will be highly regarded) to maintain project program, cashflow forecasting and reporting information.
