Surfers Paradise Beach Cafe has an excellent chance for a full-time Chef to join our team

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in line with restaurant standards.

• Assisting in menu planning, stock control, and ordering supplies.

• Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with Australian regulations.

• Supervising and training kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation and service.

• Monitoring portion control and minimizing food wastage.

Applicants for this position should:

• Have relevant formal qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant full-time experience, in addition to formal qualifications

• In some cases, a number of (3-5) years fulltime employment may be considered in place of

formal qualifications

• Possess strong knowledge of food safety and WHS requirements.

• Demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.

• Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
