About the Role

As a Contractor Occupational Therapist, you will:

- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and evaluations
- Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual client goals
- Complete functional capacity assessments and detailed reports
- Provide assistive technology assessments and recommendations
- Conduct home modification assessments and equipment prescription
- Support clients with activities of daily living, community participation, and independence-building goals
- Work with paediatric, adult, and/or mixed caseloads depending on your interests and experience
- Deliver services in clinic, home, school, workplace, and community settings
- Collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators, and other allied health professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and NDIS-compliant reporting

Essential Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- ABN for contractor engagement

- Experience working within the NDIS sector
- Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA) experience
- Assistive Technology and Home Modifications experience
- Paediatric and/or adult community therapy experience
- Strong report-writing and communication skills
