Drake Trades and Technical, a leader in recruitment for skilled trades, is excited to present an outstanding opportunity for experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a leading manufacturing site in West Croydon, SA.

The Role

As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll play a key role in keeping plant and production equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and keeping production moving. Key responsibilities include:

- Completing preventative and planned maintenance across production equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
- Inspect machinery and identify potential issues before they become breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Assist with machinery installation and equipment improvements.
- Maintain spare parts and help fabricate components when required.
- Record maintenance work accurately in SAP.
- Work closely with the production team to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
- Follow site safety and environmental procedures at all times.

About You

- Cert III Mechanical Qualification.




- 3+ years' experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
- Solid mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic experience is highly regarded.
- Welding, fabrication or basic machining skills are advantageous.
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions under pressure.
- Reliable, practical and safety focused, with a strong work ethic.
- Clear communicator who works well with others.
