Senior Facilities Manager - Commercial Property | Adelaide
Senior facilities leadership role within Property Management
Responsibility for operations, compliance, contractors and tenant experience
Deliver capital works projects in addition to day-to-day facilities management
CBRE is seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to oversee the operational performance of a premium commercial office asset in the heart of the Adelaide CBD.
You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective operation of building services, contractor performance, compliance obligations and tenant outcomes. Work closely with clients, contractors, tenants and internal stakeholders to maintain asset performance while identifying opportunities for operational improvement and project delivery. The role also requires the successful execution of CAPEX initiatives alongside core facilities management responsibilities.
The Opportunity:
- Lead day-to-day facilities management and operational performance across the commercial asset including inspections, reporting, certifications and planned maintenance programs
- Manage contractor performance and meetings, procurement activities, technical documentation, operational reporting and service delivery outcomes
- Deliver capital works and maintenance initiatives to improve asset performance
- Monitor operating expenditure, support budgeting processes and manage financial reporting
- Maintain statutory compliance, essential services, risk management and WHS standards
- Support sustainability initiatives including energy, water and NABERS performance outcomes
About You:
- Demonstrated senior facilities management experience within commercial, industrial or complex property environments
- Solid knowledge of building services, statutory compliance and essential services requirements
- Experience managing contractors, service agreements and maintenance programs
- Exposure to CAPEX delivery, operational budgeting and financial reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted client and tenant relationships
- Strong organisational skills,
commercial judgement and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in property, facilities management, engineering, technical disciplines or trade backgrounds will be highly regarded
