This isn't your typical "update the SWMS, tick the boxes and disappear" safety role.

You'll be working alongside a highly experienced Safety Manager who will genuinely mentor you, while you become a key part of a young, energetic and growing second-generation commercial construction business delivering some seriously impressive projects across Sydney.

The team all get together for social events, laughs, and the owners are hands-on and genuinely passionate about their people!

What you'll actually be doing:

n

No two days will look the same...

n

n
- Working a 40/60 split between site and office — mostly on site
n
- Working alongside site teams, contractors and project managers
n
- Reviewing, improving and modernising WHS/HSEQ systems and documentation
n
- Managing internal safety systems and keeping things moving
n
- Supporting tenders and live commercial projects
n
- Delivering practical safety advice, training and toolbox talks
n
- Identifying gaps and actually helping fix them
n
- Working with the Safety Manager on continuous improvement
n
- Being the person people come to when they need good, practical safety advice
n

Who are we looking for?

n





This is where we're pretty specific.

n

You need 3+ years of HSEQ experience in Commercial Building & Construction.

n

We are NOT looking for someone coming from:

n

n
- Residential Building
n
- Aged Care
n
- Medical
n
- Manufacturing
n
- General Industry environments
n

n

You need to understand construction sites, contractors, projects, documentation and the realities of getting work done safely.

n

You'll also need:

n

n
- Cert IV in WHS minimum
n
- Robust commercial construction experience
n
- White Card
n
- Driver's Licence
n
- Confidence dealing with everyone from a Site Supervisor to a Director
n
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
n
