Job Description

As a part of the Network Delivery Group you will undertake a variety of works associated with the design and construction of Evoenergy's Electrical Distribution Network. This position offers an exciting prospect to be part of maintaining a future focused electricity network for the ACT.

Key responsibilities:

n

- Develop and prepare detailed project briefs, estimates and associated documentation for assigned projects, ensuring that the customer's requirements and Evoenergy's business objectives are met.
n
- Perform calculations and assessments for various design criteria for overhead line assets, including structures/poles, switchgear, transformers, etc. and ground assets, including distribution substations/kiosks, switching stations and related infrastructure.
n
- Provide technical support and advice to delivery teams as required.
n
- Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training.

Our ideal candidate:

n

n
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) however an Advanced Diploma, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering is acceptable as a minimum.
n
- Demonstrated experience, strong knowledge and understanding in regard to customer and network-initiated electricity distribution works including overhead lines and ground assets and the related infrastructures.
n
- Established understanding and proven experience in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including external contractors,



consultants and in-house delivery teams.
n
- Demonstrated experience, strong knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment relating to the electricity distribution industry.
n
- You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.
