Employment Type: Contract/temporary, with potential for ongoing work

Pay Rate: $65.00 per hour + superannuation

Travel Allowance: $27.00 per day

About the Role TRS Resourcing is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians and Automotive Electricians to join a specialist equipment manufacturer in Melbourne's western suburbs.

n

This chance would suit qualified tradespeople with experience across heavy vehicles, industrial electrical systems, PLCs, control systems, wiring looms, diagnostics and equipment installation.

n

The position offers long‐term project continuity, with a strong pipeline of work extending through 2027 and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Complete electrical assembly, installation, servicing and maintenance
n
- Work on heavy‐duty vehicles, prime movers and specialised commercial equipment
n
- Fabricate and install electrical enclosures, wiring harnesses and components
n
- Read and interpret circuit diagrams, engineering drawings and workshop documentation
n




- Perform electrical fault‐finding, diagnostics and repairs
n
- Install, configure and test PLCs and control systems
n
- Route, terminate, label and test wiring looms
n
- Ensure work meets safety, quality and technical requirements
n
- Work independently and as part of an experienced workshop team
n

What You'll Need

n

n
- Relevant electrical or automotive electrical trade qualification
n
- Industrial and/or automotive electrical experience
n
- Experience with PLCs, control systems or vehicle‐mounted electrical equipment
n
- Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering documentation
n
- Strong fault‐finding and diagnostic skills
n
- Basic personal hand tools
n
- Two recent professional referees
n
- Current residence in Melbourne, Victoria
n
- Legal right to work in Australia
n
