Senior Electrical Project Manager

n

Due to recently awarded projects valued up to $10 million, an exciting opportunity is now available for a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead projects based in Brisbane and its surrounding areas.

- Project management from concept to completion of D+C projects up to $10 million in value
n
- Maintain a clear and precise project plan showing key deliverables and milestones.
n
- Ensure projects are proactively managed, executed according to the project documents, schedule and budget.
n
- Effective management of resources including close monitoring of material and labour allowances.
n
- Participate in the tender process including design, submission and review.
n
- Accurate preparation of monthly progress claims, identify cost saving initiatives and alternatives to maximise profitability.
n
- Coordinate and attend project meetings, build relationships with clients, suppliers and external stakeholders.

The Candidate

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager who is career focused and interested in playing a critical part in the growth and development of our client. Key skills and attributes required for the role:

- Previous experience delivering medium - large sized commercial D+C construction projects including management of the five phases of the project life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, monitor and close)

- Ability to lead a team to deliver successful project outcomes.

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Cost estimation and budgeting
n
- Promote a safety-first working environment and uphold company standards.
n
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitask to meet rapidly changing requirements and deadlines.
n
- Confidence to communicate with clients and staff at all levels in a transparent and concise manner.
