As Senior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of allocated projects, ensuring that scope, programme, budget, quality and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed. This is a senior, client-facing position suited to a capable project leader who can manage multiple projects, navigate complex issues and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes. Reporting directly to the Director, you will provide strategic and practical advice throughout the project lifecycle while building trusted relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and government stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

- Lead projects from planning and initiation through design, procurement, construction, completion and handover.
- Develop and maintain project management plans, programmes, budgets, risk registers and governance frameworks.
- Coordinate internal resources, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance and take timely action to address programme, cost, quality and delivery risks.
- Manage client relationships and provide clear, considered and commercially focused advice.
- Lead project meetings, workshops and planning sessions.
- Oversee project correspondence, reporting, approvals and document control.
- Manage consultant and contractor procurement, including preparation and review of tender documentation, tender evaluations and recommendations.
- Support contract preparation, negotiation and administration.
- Review progress claims, variations, extension-of-time claims and other contractual matters.

About you





- Demonstrated experience managing property development or construction projects through multiple lifecycle stages.
- Robust knowledge of project governance, procurement, design management, construction delivery and contract administration.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Well-developed commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence working directly with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities and senior stakeholders.
- Strong written communication skills, including the preparation of project reports, procurement documentation and formal correspondence.
- Excellent verbal communication, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
- A calm and solutions-focused approach when working under pressure.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in project management, construction management, engineering, architecture, property or a related discipline.
- A valid Australian driver's licence, as travel to project sites will be required.
