About the Role
n Primo Foods are currently seeking experienced hygiene operatives to join our business on a full-time basis in Wacol, Brisbane. We are looking for people to join our team in an entry level hygiene operative position with career progression available for the right candidates.

n

As a hygiene operator you will be responsible for ensuring that the standards of hygiene and cleanliness are achieved daily before production start-up, whilst ensuring safe work practices are adhered to when using industrial cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

n

- Clean and sanitise production equipment, machine parts, tubs, trolleys, bins, and associated tools in accordance with site hygiene and sanitation procedures.
n
- Inspect all cleaned equipment to ensure it meets hygiene standards and is ready for production use.
n
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised Gear Room and equipment storage areas at all times.
n
- Monitor and prepare cleaning chemicals, ensuring correct concentrations are used and all chemicals are handled safely.
n
- Conduct pre-operational hygiene inspections and identify any equipment or areas that do not meet cleanliness requirements.
n
- Ensure all equipment, utensils, gear, and cleaning areas comply with site hygiene, GMP, and food safety standards.
n
- Complete cleaning records, sanitation documentation,



and inventory checks accurately and within required timeframes.
n
- Report damaged equipment, missing PPE, hygiene concerns, and maintenance issues promptly.
n
- Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to ensure equipment availability and compliance standards are achieved.

About you:

n

- Available to work Monday to Friday (afternoon and night shifts)
n
- Experience within manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred
n
- Be able to work with raw meat, specifically Pork products
n
- Good attention to detail
n
- Flexible, motivated and keen to learn
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
n
