The Position
n
As a Quality Advisor at VMCH, you will partner closely with Care at Home operational leaders to strengthen quality, safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the division. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide practical, evidence-based advice that supports quality outcomes, regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.

Success in this role requires a balanced approach that combines strong regulatory knowledge with operational understanding and commercial awareness, ensuring compliance is embedded as an enabler of high-quality service delivery.

The responsibilities

- Partner with Care at Home leaders to drive quality, safety, compliance and continuous improvement outcomes.
n
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing practical and balanced advice that supports quality outcomes, regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.
n
- Support accreditation, certification, audits and regulatory compliance activities.
n
- Monitor quality and risk trends,
providing practical recommendations to improve service delivery.
n
- Provide expert guidance on aged care standards, legislation and best practice.
n
- Promote a culture where compliance is viewed as an enabler of high-quality service delivery rather than a standalone function.
n
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence positive change across the organisation.
n

What's Required
n
n
- Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Experience in quality, compliance or management within Support at Home, aged care or community services
n
- Knowledge of aged care regulatory frameworks, quality systems, risk management and compliance requirements
n
- Experience supporting accreditation, certification, audit activities and continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate legislative requirements into practical operational solutions
n
- Robust commercial and operational awareness, with the ability to balance compliance requirements with service delivery outcomes.
n
- Current Victorian Driver Licence.
