We have opportunities available for qualified LV & HV Electricians to join our Defence division and support with this contract. These are permanent full-time positions based at key sites across South Australia including Edinburgh, Keswick and Woomera.

About the role
n
You will ensure the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and repair of Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) electrical systems across multiple defence bases in the region.
n
Your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Conducting routine maintenance, inspections,
and repairs on LV electrical systems and equipment.
n
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
n
- Installing and commissioning electrical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
n
- Working closely with the EU Supervisor to coordinate and prioritise tasks and projects.
n
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely, adhering to Health and Safety regulations and best practices.
n
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs conducted on electrical systems.
n
- Providing technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders as required.
n
- Participating in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements.
n
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

About you
n
Our ideal candidate will have:
n
n
- Demonstrated experience in working with LV electrical systems.
n
- Familiarity with Defence operations and the responsibilities of the Electrical Operating Authority.
n
- Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults and issues.
n
- Experience in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
n
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations and best practices in an electrical environment.
n
- Relevant trade qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
n
- Valid driver's licence.
n
n
You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
n
