Nexmin is a Perth based, multi-discipline engineering consultancy specialising in the delivery of industry-leading metallurgical and design solutions for mineral processing facilities.

Nexmin offer comprehensive engineering services across all major disciplines, from early-stage feasibility studies, including DFS level through to detailed design and full EPCM project delivery.

The Roles

n

Lead Mechanical & Piping Designers

n

Reporting to the Manager – Design & Drafting, you will be responsible for managing engineering design activities from concept-level modelling through to AFC detailed deliverables for one of Australia's largest greenfield gold projects.

n

The roles are offered on a permanent basis located at our Osborne Park office.

n

Brief Duties

n

n
- Lead, develop, manage, and deliver design activities across the project
n
- Develop and review layouts, piping arrangements and mechanical designs
n
- Coordinate with process, electrical, structural and project engineering disciplines
n
- Review drawings, models and design deliverables for quality and constructability
n




- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to designers
n
- Work directly with engineers and project teams
n

Criteria

n

n
- Cert III or Diploma - Engineering or related field - Desirable
n
- Experience in mining and mineral processing projects - Essential
n
- Robust leadership skills
n
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
n
- Design software experience:

- Bentley Open Plant Modeller 2023 Connect Edition

- Bentley Open Plant Isometrics Manager 2023 Connect Edition

- Autodesk Navisworks Freedom
n
- Autodesk Navisworks SimulateAutodesk AutoCAD - Not essential
