- Become a fundamental part of a large commercial litigation team
- Work directly within the four-Partner Financial Institutions, Directors & Officers practice
- Handle large-scale, complex, high-value, multi-party, multi-jurisdiction litigation
- Participate in a range of general commercial litigation matters for corporations, directors and officers, and insurers
- Actively participate in all aspects of matters and contribute significantly to outcomes
- Engage directly with clients and gain client exposure
- Develop skilled and personal brand
- Collaborate with Counsel, solicitors, and Partners
- Develop client relationships and understand clients’ business needs

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years’ post qualification experience
- Between 5–8 years of experience at Senior Associate level
- Solid general commercial litigation background from a top-tier private practice environment in Australia or overseas
- Australian or overseas qualified lawyer
- Highly refined communication skills for dealing with Counsel and solicitors across multi-party litigation
- Experience working with and analysing high-volume data sets and evidence on a cross-border basis
- Precise, clear drafting skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities




- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Commercial awareness and confidence building rapport with clients and developing client relationships
- For more senior lawyers, ability to lead and delegate
- Ability to foster a positive team environment

Demonstrates extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, with a strong focus on client relationship management and effective communication. Proven ability to analyze high-volume data sets and manage multi-party, multi-jurisdictional cases while fostering a collaborative team environment.
