About the role
Do you have an eye for detail? And have experience in data entry? We would love to hear from you! Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking a Program Assistant (Administration) to join our Central Intake team on a part-time fixed capacity.
As a Program Assistant with us you have the opportunity to support the productive management of referrals to ensure our clients and consumers can access the care they need in a timely way. You will be part of a small, friendly team primarily responsible for managing incoming referrals and ensuring they are directed to the correct areas of our organisation. This will include managing phone and email enquiries and entering referrals onto our patient administration database.
Skills and experience
A Program Assistant who joins our team will:
- be an excellent communicator, committed to working at the highest standard. This includes the ability to identify and solve problems constructively, listen, and relay information.
- be a hard worker, with excellent organisational skills, being able to adapt to competing demands.
- be efficient and accurate in data entry ensuring that referrals can be entered correctly and in a timely manner
- previous experience in administration or customer service in a healthcare environment will also be highly regarded.
