The Opportunity!

n

You'll join an established Construction, Projects & Infrastructure team and work closely with experienced Partners on significant Queensland and national matters.

n

Your work will include:

n

n
- High-value construction and engineering disputes
n
- Delay, disruption, defects and variation claims
n
- Security of Payment matters and adjudications
n
- Construction contract interpretation and disputes
n
- Dispute avoidance and strategic advisory work
n
- Acting for principals, contractors, developers, subcontractors and insurers
n

n

You'll have genuine client exposure, responsibility for your matters and the opportunity to work on complex disputes that require strong technical and commercial thinking.

What We're Looking For You'll ideally have:

n

n
- 5+ years PAE in construction disputes or construction litigation
n
- Strong back-end construction experience
n
- Solid knowledge of construction contracts and dispute resolution processes
n
- Excellent drafting and written communication skills
n
- Confidence dealing directly with clients
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
n
- A collaborative and positive approach
n
