Your new company An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Defence capability professional to support the delivery of a significant Defence acquisition program. Working within a complex stakeholder environment, you will play a key role in the development of facilities-related capability requirements, helping shape the infrastructure and support environment required for a future Defence capability.

Your new role As a Systems Specialist - Facilities, you will be responsible for developing facilities-related capability documentation and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure infrastructure requirements are identified, documented and delivered in support of program objectives. You will work closely with project teams, end users and specialist stakeholders to support approvals, governance activities and project planning.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing high-quality facilities requirements and supporting artefacts
- Coordinating facilities planning activities and stakeholder engagement
- Supporting project approvals through the preparation of required documentation
- Monitoring facility project progress and reporting outcomes to project teams
- Liaising with Defence and industry stakeholders regarding infrastructure requirements
- Drafting procurement and contractual documentation
- Supporting commercial and governance activities




- Maintaining facilities-related information within systems engineering databases
- Presenting findings, updates and recommendations to committees and senior stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

- An active NV1 security clearance
- Experience within Defence acquisition, capability development or infrastructure delivery environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Excellent written documentation and reporting capability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience developing capability, infrastructure or project documentation
- Robust organisational skills and attention to detail
- Facilities, estate or infrastructure project experience will be highly regarded
- Willingness to travel as required
