- Assist qualified technicians with the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy equipment and machinery

- Learn to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults

- Safely operate workshop tools, equipment, and lifting devices

- Successfully complete apprenticeship training

Requirements

- Enrolled in, or committed to completing, a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology
n
- Genuine interest in mechanical equipment, heavy machinery, and developing a long-term trade career
n
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and basic computer skills
n
- Ability to complete training and workplace documentation
n
- Demonstrated ability to safely use hand tools
n
- Ability to follow workplace safety procedures
n
- Willingness to learn new technical skills through structured training, on-the-job experience, and trade school attendance
n
- Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented

- Positive attitude and commitment to personal and career development

- Successful applicants progressing past interview stage must undergo National Police Clearance and Medical Screening, including drug and alcohol testing
