About The Role

Join Barwon Health’s dynamic Newcomb Primary Care team as a Grade 2 Physiotherapist and deliver evidence-based, goal-centred care to consumers across a diverse community setting. You’ll work within a high-performing multidisciplinary team supporting people with a range of needs, from early intervention through to chronic and complex care.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to a varied physiotherapy service, including individual consultations, group programs such as GLAD and Balance, AHA-led programs and access to aquatic physiotherapy. You’ll also have opportunities to support students and junior staff, contribute to peer-directed learning, and get involved in the several quality improvement, research and service innovation projects currently underway with our team.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, intervention and care within a community setting.
- Independently manage a clinical caseload and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide clinical supervision, teaching and support to junior staff and students.
- Contribute to quality improvement, service development and innovative approaches to community care.

What We’re Looking For

- A degree in Physiotherapy from an Australian Physiotherapy Council accredited course.
- Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).




- Clinical knowledge and experience relevant to the designated clinical area.
- Strong communication, organisation and prioritisation skills, with a commitment to consumer-centred care.
- A collaborative approach and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience in a community health setting is desirable.
