About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for approachable and caring Classroom Teacher's to join the supportive team at Holy Family CPS, Kelso. The teacher in a Catholic school is someone who can encourage development and nurture the personal, spiritual and educational growth of each and every student.

- Creating a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.
- Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress.
- Using inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.
- Analysing student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes.
- Collaborating with school leadership, staff, and contribute to school life.
- Providing student supervision and assist in organising extracurricular activities.

About You

- Able to create a nurturing, inclusive and learner-centred environment that supports student growth and achievement
- Able to work collaboratively with colleagues, families and the wider school community to support student learning and wellbeing
- The desire to engage with and contribute to a Catholic learning organisation
- Experience and proven record in effective classroom learning and teaching




- Advanced understanding of contemporary teaching and learning practices
- A willingness to engage with the Professional Learning Communities program and the ability to work effectively as part of a Professional Learning Team
- A demonstrated understanding of the Church’s teachings and the Catholic teacher’s role in the mission of the Church
