Area Manager | Fresh Fast-Casual Brand | Melbourne

up to $120,000 plus super, vehicle and bonus

An established and growing fast-casual restaurant group is looking for an experienced Area Manager to lead a portfolio of restaurants across Melbourne.

This is a genuine multi-site operations role across a mix of corporate and franchised restaurants, working closely with Restaurant Managers and Franchisees to improve performance, develop outstanding teams and deliver consistently strong restaurants.

We’re looking for an operator — someone who understands restaurants, knows what good looks like and enjoys being out in the field making things happen.

The role

You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of Melbourne restaurants, with responsibility for:

- Driving sales, profitability and operational performance
- Coaching and developing Restaurant Managers and Franchisees
- Improving labour, COGS and overall restaurant profitability
- Maintaining high standards across food, service, safety and brand execution
- Building strong, commercially focused relationships with franchise partners
- Identifying performance gaps and putting practical plans in place to fix them
- Developing talent and strengthening the leadership pipeline
- Supporting new restaurant openings and continued network growth

Who we're looking for





You’ll already have experience leading multiple locations within QSR, fast casual, casual dining, cafés or another high-volume hospitality environment.

You don’t need to come from a traditional franchise background. We’re particularly interested in strong restaurant operators who have progressed into multi-site leadership and still genuinely enjoy being close to the restaurants and their people.

You’ll be commercially strong, comfortable with restaurant P&Ls; and confident coaching both employed managers and business owners.

You’ll also be a visible, hands-on leader who can challenge performance, build relationships and get results without hiding behind spreadsheets and checklists.

Spanish language skills would be highly regarded, but are not essential.
