KMH Workforce are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a major civil bulk earthworks project with mobilisation commencing late September / early October.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new project and play a key role in the successful delivery of large-scale civil earthworks.
About the Role
As Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Manager and site team to coordinate the delivery of civil and bulk earthworks activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and coordinating day-to-day engineering activities
- Supporting the delivery of bulk earthworks and civil construction works
- Monitoring project progress, costs, quality and program requirements
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Preparing progress reports, quantities and project documentation
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site crews
- Assisting with planning, scheduling and resource management
- Ensuring works comply with project specifications and relevant standards
- Working closely with the Project Manager, Supervisors and client representatives
- Identifying and resolving technical and construction issues on site

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant Engineering qualification, preferably Civil Engineering
- Previous experience working on civil construction and bulk earthworks projects
- Strong understanding of earthworks methodologies, quantities and project delivery
- Previous FIFO and/or mining experience highly regarded
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site setting
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Australian working rights
