- design and develop firmware for industry-leading emergency lighting products
- work with embedded systems, IoT technologies, wireless communications and up-to-date microcontrollers
- contribute to new product development from concept through to testing and release
- collaborate closely with Electronics, Software and Product Development teams

- troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues

- a degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
- experience developing firmware for embedded systems and microcontrollers
- strong programming skills in C and ideally Python
- experience with Embedded Linux and device driver development
- exposure to IoT technologies and connected devices
- knowledge of wireless communication protocols, including Bluetooth, Sub-GHz and mesh networking
- experience working with DALI-based systems
- a solid understanding of electronics principles
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- excellent attention to detail and a logical approach to troubleshooting
- a hands-on, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
