St Johns Park Bowling Club Group is a large Club group encompassing St Johns Park Bowling Club, Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club, Tuncurry Beach Motel, Tuncurry Holiday Units, Balmain Bowling Club, Wallacia Country Club, Club Wallacia and Mollymook Beach Bowling Club. With a robust membership base of more than 62,000 members across the Group, we are committed to providing warm and welcoming experiences for our members and guests.

About the role

Mollymook Beach Bowling Club is located in the beautiful Mollymook community on the South Coast of NSW. The Club is undergoing exciting renovations and introducing new systems to transform the Club into a modern community hub. The Club has a dedicated team of Supervisors and Club Attendants, a gaming installation of 28 EGMs, and a bowling membership taking advantage of our 2 well-maintained Bowls Greens. Our Bistro is currently outsourced to contract caterers. This period of transformation offers a rare opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Club Manager to lead day-to-day Club operations while working closely with Department Managers at Head Office in Sydney. This role reports to the Group Chief Executive Officer based in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of Mollymook Beach Bowling Club.

Work collaboratively with Department Managers at Head Office in Sydney for guidance, projects and initiatives.

Lead and mentor a team of new and existing Club Attendants and Supervisors to ensure high standards of customer service and continuous improvement.





Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with the Group's values.

Provide support in identifying staff training needs and skills gaps and implement appropriate training and development initiatives.

Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Implement RSA, RCG and club compliance requirements, Liquor and Gaming NSW, work health and safety, policies and procedures.

Coordinate raffles and promotions with the team to ensure delivery of these initiatives to members/patrons.

Ensure there is adequate stock on hand and accuracy of stock take.

Prepare weekly rosters in accordance with trade requirements, wage budgets and employment agreements.

Provide reports and updates to the Group CEO as required.

Builds a positive relationship with members, local community, and key stakeholders.

About you

Experience in leading a team in a similar industry ie hospitality, community, hotel, pubs.

Flexibility with rosters based on trade requirements.

Demonstrated commitment to Customer Service.

Current RSA/RCG/ ARCG Certification.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suits word, excel, outlook, powerpoint, systems, applications.
