Are you passionate about waste management, sustainability and delivering projects that make a difference to the community?

In this role you will:

- Lead and support the Waste Projects and Planning team, fostering a positive, engaged and customer-focused team environment.
- Plan, deliver and review projects and initiatives aligned with Council’s Waste Strategy, while monitoring emerging waste management issues and trends.
- Provide strategic advice and prepare reports for a range of stakeholders, while collaborating with internal teams to improve waste management and customer outcomes.

We are looking for someone who:

- Holds relevant qualifications in Waste Management, Project Management, Environmental Management or a related discipline, and/or has substantial relevant experience.




- Has demonstrated experience leading a customer-focused team and successfully planning, managing and delivering projects.
- Has sound knowledge of waste minimisation, emerging waste management trends and NSW planning legislation, with strong written, verbal, presentation and facilitation skills.
