The Package:

$99,242 - $109,664.36 gross per annum + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 14 of the QPRC Salary System 2026) and Award increases of 4% in and 4% in .

Full time - 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements will be considered.

In this role you will:

- Lead and support the Waste Education team to deliver innovative, high-performing communications and education programs across all sectors of the community.
- Plan, implement, and review communications and education plans for key projects and programmes in Council’s Waste Strategy.
- Develop and deliver strategically focussed waste education programmes for schools, community groups, and local events.
- Promote sustainability and enhance customer outcomes.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has exceptional communication skills.




- Holds relevant qualifications or substantial experience in Community Education, Marketing and Communications, Behaviour Change, Waste Management, Sustainability, or Environmental Disciplines.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills to manage a customer-focused team alongside excellent presentation, facilitation, and written communication abilities.
