Legal and Client Support Officer, Women’s Homelessness

The HPLSWomen’sServiceis a gendered service that provides specialistassistance to women, trans and gender diverse people who are atrisk of being evicted, homeless, and/or facing other barriers to accessing and maintaining safe and stable housing.
Reporting to the Managing Solicitor,
theLegal and Client Support Officerprovides paralegal and administrative support for thesolicitors working in theHPLS Women’s Service as well as directly supporting clients. Additionally, you will:
- manage and process client files including drafting outcome letters.
- liaise and correspond with courts, tribunals, police, governmentagenciesand other externalorganisations.
- provide trauma-informed,accessibleand responsive intake services.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a legal practice orrelevantprofessional service workplace. You will also have:
- experience in the delivery of administrative support services including word processing and data entry skills.
- demonstrated ability to keepaccuraterecords andmaintainclient confidentiality.
- excellent interpersonal communications skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and externalstakeholders.
