About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Retail Pharmacy Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our busy community pharmacy.

Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service, leading and developing team members, supporting workflow efficiencies, and maintaining high professional and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Support the management of daily pharmacy operations and workflow.

Lead, motivate, and mentor pharmacy assistants.

Deliver exceptional patient and customer service.

Assist with rostering, training, and onboarding of team members.

Monitor and maintain store presentation, merchandising, and stock management (including data entry).





Support the achievement of pharmacy and retail performance goals.

Ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures, policies, and professional standards.

Promote Wholelife Pharmacy services, health programs, and product ranges.

Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Previous experience in community pharmacy, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.

Robust knowledge of pharmacy operations and dispensary workflow.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to lead by example and inspire others.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

A genuine passion for healthcare, wellness, and helping people achieve better health outcomes.

Certificate II, III, or IV in Community Pharmacy.
