Senior Sales and Retail Assistant - Wildsoul Wellness Fairfield

$60,000 - $70,000 per year pro-rata, inc super

The primary purpose of this role is to bring a positive, customer-centric approach to every shift, creating a happy and fulfilling experience for customers while meeting the sales and retail objectives of the business. This is the senior front-of-house role in the studio team, and the main point of support for the Studio Manager. It carries the highest level of ownership for sales, retail and member experience outside of studio management itself.

Key responsibilities

Convert prospects to class and recovery memberships while they are in the studio, following Wildsoul's sales presentation process

Welcome new members into the studio, explain their membership and show them how to use the app

Welcome each member individually and become familiar with their goals and progress

Deliver ongoing member nurturing, including automated birthday messages, regular newsletters, identifying high-risk members and delivering appropriate communication

Assist with membership cancellations, suspensions, upgrades and downgrades in collaboration with the Sales & Retail Manager

Collate membership data into the monthly sales tracker, including new sales, cancellations and other net member movement

Promote additional retail products and services to customers and maintain excellence in customer service at all times





Clean and tidy the studio as per the cleaning schedule, keeping all class and common areas presentable and well stocked

Help regularly upskill and train front-of-house team members in their sales skills and systems competency

About you

Sales experience with a strong background in fitness, hospitality or retail, with a minimum of two years experience

Genuine interest in Pilates, recovery, or the wider wellness industry

Minimum availability of four days per week, including at least one weekend day

Comfortable using software systems including member management, CRM, bookings, POS, Mindbody, Google and Zipleads

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build genuine member relationships

A team-first mindset, with a willingness to contribute to shared studio goals and outcomes

Confident, friendly communicator who builds genuine rapport with members

Sales-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets

Reliable, organised, and consistent under pressure

Willing to take initiative and go beyond the task list when the studio needs it
