The Role
As the School Officer you will be accountable for the day-to-day running of the front office as well as various communications with staff in relation to the school's operations. You will ideally have strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide a high level of leadership and management and will be accountable to implement and develop operational processes ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Departmental policies and guidelines with regards to student enrolment, transfers between schools and local intake area and surrounds.
You should ideally model effective and quality customer and administrative support service delivery and use excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in collaboration with the administration team, school support staff, our school community and teaching staff. As our School Officer,
your duties may include assisting the Manager Corporate Services to maintain the financial position of the school, handling front desk inquiries and collaborating with all staff on daily operations with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
