About the opportunity
- Provide high-quality administrative and project support for the Einstein-First Project, a nationally significant curriculum reform initiative based within the School of Physics, Mathematics and Computing at UWA, supporting the delivery of research, education and outreach activities.
- Coordinate meetings, calendars, communications and stakeholder engagement activities, including liaison with participating schools, researchers, government representatives, donors and other external partners.
- Support project operations through records management, research data administration, ethics documentation, website content coordination, newsletters, event administration and maintenance of shared digital resources and contact databases.
- Assist with the planning, promotion and delivery of teacher professional learning programs, seminars, outreach activities and other events that contribute to improving STEM engagement and education outcomes.
About you
- Relevant administrative qualifications and demonstrated experience in administration, project coordination, office management or a similar support role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prepare, edit and maintain accurate,
professional documentation.
- Robust organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, show initiative, solve problems and collaborate effectively within a small, high-performing team.
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, databases, online collaboration tools, email systems and digital platforms, together with experience maintaining records and stakeholder information.
