- Engage with commercial teams across Australia and New Zealand to drive new business volume and develop strategies to finance new asset classes
- Evaluate, review, and research equipment to determine market dynamics and asset values
- Work with sales, customers, and dealers to provide solutions supporting new business volume and new program development
- Review and analyze current portfolios to increase performance and ensure adherence to Global Asset Management policies
- Deliver asset expertise supporting origination activities and risk management for CT&I; equipment portfolios
- Identify asset financing opportunities with commercial teams and progress them to closure using residual risk and asset-backed structures
- Support local commercial and/or C&R; team members with ad hoc asset evaluations for new business and distressed customers
- Develop working relationships with Program Management, Sales, and Current Business Development to identify, pursue, and execute commercial opportunities
- Develop and implement Asset Management strategies for selected accounts to drive recent lease originations and residual risk income
- Monitor equipment manufactured and sold by vendor partners and competitors, and provide updates on product launches and CT&I; market developments
- Prepare Vendor Reports and ad hoc reports for the Asset Management Committee
- Work with Local Remarketing teams to determine how best to remarket portfolio assets before return
- Liaise with third-party asset valuators and other DLL Asset Evaluators Managers, challenging assumptions where appropriate
- Research countries, local business practices, customs, and markets affecting asset values across Australia and New Zealand
- Participate in Asset Management-related projects within and outside the business unit
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Genuine interest in and relevant knowledge of the Construction,
Transportation and Industrial (CT&I;) sector and its commercial operations
- Strong commercial drive and business acumen
- Able to engage with internal commercial teams and present commercial initiatives to high-level external relationships
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to develop, manage, and evolve internal and external relationships
- Quality driven and results oriented with a self-starting entrepreneurial spirit
- Logical thinking and ability to represent complex and technical issues clearly and concisely
- Able to find and provide solutions and generate more than one option
- Able to work in a multifunctional and multicultural environment
- Successful completion of a background check
