The Opportunity
A large and reputable brand is seeking a Senior FP&A; Analyst to join its Group Finance team. This role will deliver accurate and commercially insightful analysis to senior executives, the Board and finance leaders across the organisation.
The chance would suit a CA qualified accountant with a strong audit, external reporting or financial accounting background who is looking to develop broader FP&A; and commercial finance experience.
The Challenge
- Supporting monthly Group performance reporting across the P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow and capex
- Preparing financial analysis and commentary for senior executives and the Board
- Supporting forecasting, planning and other Group reporting requirements
- Analysing key performance measures, including cash conversion and return on capital
- Partnering with finance teams to understand performance and key commercial drivers
- Reconciling management and statutory reporting outcomes
- Improving reporting processes,
systems and automation
The Expertise
To be successful, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- CA Qualified
- 4+ years’ experience across audit or financial reporting, including experience gained in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm
- Experience within a large or complex organisation
- Strong financial reporting and analytical capability
- Exceptional communication skills and confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship required
