You would own a portfolio of client relationships directly, including the difficult conversations. This includes business structuring, asset protection, tax planning done in advance rather than explained in arrears, succession and estate work for owners heading toward an exit. You would run strategic annual client meetings, lead the production team beneath you — an assistant client manager, a senior production manager, and the accountants and bookkeepers who make your portfolio deliverable, here and in the Philippines. You would take a seat in the senior management group and help decide how the firm itself is run. You would inherit a functioning production team and an established client portfolio from day one.

Key responsibilities

Own a portfolio of client relationships directly, including difficult conversations

Deliver business structuring, asset protection, and tax planning in advance

Manage succession and estate work for owners heading toward an exit

Run strategic annual client meetings

Lead the production team beneath you

Take a seat in the senior management group and help decide how the firm is run

Finalise complex work including trust returns, financial statements, Division 7A, CGT, FBT, depreciation, franking accounts, and family trust elections

About you

Around ten years in tax and business advisory

At least three years at manager level

Able to finalise complex work yourself, not only delegate it

Technical knowledge of trust returns, company and partnership returns, SMSF returns, financial statements, Division 7A, CGT including small business concessions, FBT, depreciation, franking accounts,



family trust elections

Experience with Xero, Xero Practice Manager and NowInfinity is a strong plus

CPA, CA or IPA is a solid plus, not a strict requirement

Someone who wants to build with AI, not just tolerate it
