Security Platform Engineer – Google SecOps

Sydney, NSW | Permanent | Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced Security Platform Engineer with hands‐on Google SecOps / Chronicle experience to support and enhance a security operations workplace.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Administer and support Google SecOps SIEM/SOAR.
n
- Manage and troubleshoot security log and telemetry ingestion.
n
- Support parsing, enrichment and routing of security data.
n
- Monitor platform health, performance and data quality.
n
- Assist with platform changes, upgrades and deployments.
n
- Work closely with SOC, Security Engineering, Cloud and Infrastructure teams.
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Hands‐on experience with Google SecOps / Chronicle.
n
- Strong understanding of SIEM, log ingestion and security telemetry.
n
- Experience troubleshooting data and platform issues.
n
- Exposure to cloud environments such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
n
- Familiarity with technologies such as Python, Terraform, CI/CD or OpenTelemetry would be advantageous.
