We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses or Endorsed Enrolled Nurses with strong Orthopaedic theatre experience to join a highly regarded private hospital in Newcastle.

About the Opportunity

You will be joining a busy and progressive theatre department offering some of the most advanced Orthopaedic services in Newcastle.
n
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of Orthopaedic procedures while being supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team.
n
This role will suit an experienced Scrub/Scout Nurse who is passionate about Orthopaedics, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and enjoys working in a rapid-paced theatre environment.

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n

- Full working rights
n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
n
- Demonstrated recent Scrub/Scout experience within an operating theatre environment
n
- Strong Orthopaedic clinical experience
n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
n
- A strong commitment to working within a collaborative team environment
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service
n
- An interest in quality improvement and maintaining high clinical standards
n
- Flexibility to work across AM and PM shifts
n

Desirable
n

- Postgraduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing
