Job Description

NQ Auto Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Pre-Delivery Supervisor / Head Detailer to lead our vehicle detailing and pre-delivery operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring all new, demonstrator and used vehicles are prepared and presented to a consistently high standard, while coordinating the day-to-day workflow of our detailing team.

About the Role

n

Reporting to dealership management, you will take ownership of the presentation and preparation of vehicles across our dealership.

n

You will work closely with our Sales and Service departments to ensure vehicles are prepared correctly, efficiently and on time for customer delivery and display.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the detailing team

n

Allocating work and prioritising vehicles according to delivery deadlines

n

Detailing and preparing vehicles alongside the team when required

n

Ensuring current and used vehicles are presented to a high standard

n

Conducting final quality inspections prior to customer delivery

n

Coordinating the preparation of sold vehicles, demonstrators and showroom/display stock

n

Identifying damage, presentation issues or outstanding work and ensuring these are addressed promptly

n

Maintaining an organised and efficient vehicle preparation area

n

Managing detailing products, equipment and consumable stock

n

Ensuring equipment is maintained and used correctly

n





Maintaining appropriate workplace health and safety standards

n

Working closely with Sales Managers and other departments to ensure vehicles are ready when promised

n

Helping train, develop and maintain high standards within the detailing team

n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and understands the importance of vehicle presentation to the customer experience.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

n

Experience supervising or leading a small team

n

Excellent attention to detail and high personal standards

n

Strong organisational and time-management skills

n

The ability to prioritise multiple vehicles and deadlines

n

A practical, hands-on approach to leadership

n

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different departments

n

Previous dealership experience would be highly regarded, although applicants with relevant experience from the vehicle detailing, automotive or related industries are encouraged to apply.
