ABOUT THE POSITION
n
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take on a diverse and autonomous role combining client-side Project Management and Superintendent responsibilities. You will manage projects from inception through to completion while also playing a key role during the construction phase, acting as Superintendent and administering contracts on behalf of clients.
n
This provides excellent exposure to the full project lifecycle, giving you responsibility across project planning, stakeholder management, procurement, construction delivery and contract administration. Working across a broad range of sectors, you'll have the opportunity to manage multiple projects while building strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
n
This role would suit a Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership, has strong commercial and contractual knowledge, and is looking to broaden their experience within a highly respected consultancy workplace.

DUTIES
n
n
- Manage projects from initial feasibility and planning through to completion
n
- Act as the key point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders
n
- Take on Superintendent responsibilities throughout the construction phase
n
- Administer construction contracts and ensure all parties meet their contractual obligations
n
- Assess and manage progress claims, variations, extensions of time and other contractual matters
n
- Issue relevant contractual notices and certifications in accordance with project requirements
n
- Coordinate contractors, consultants and stakeholders throughout project delivery
n
- Chair project and site meetings and provide regular reporting to clients
n
- Monitor project programmes, budgets, risks and key milestones
n
- Oversee construction activities to ensure works are delivered in line with quality, programme and budget expectations
n
- Identify and proactively manage project risks and delivery issues
n
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders
n
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard
n

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
n
n
- Previous experience as a Project Manager within the construction or property industry
n
- Client-side or consultancy Project Management experience will be highly regarded
n
- Experience undertaking Superintendent or contract administration responsibilities is highly desirable
n
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and project delivery processes
n
- Experience managing projects across a range of sectors
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
n
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
n
- Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Property or a related discipline
n
