We are seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Coordinator to join our team in Scoresby.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this varied role supports both our people and business operations. You will coordinate recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and compliance, while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our office.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working across HR, administration and office coordination in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising, screening, interview scheduling and reference checks.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including employment documentation and system setup.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation and Employment Hero data.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee enquiries and HR administration.
- Support compliance with Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards and company policies.
- Coordinate performance reviews, training activities and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist with payroll administration, leave management and employee lifecycle changes.
Office Management & Administration
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the office to maintain a professional and productive workplace.
- Manage suppliers, contractors, office equipment, facilities and building-related matters.
- Arrange staff travel, meetings and company events.
- Support WHS activities, including first aid and emergency management programs.
- Assist with invoicing,
expense management and general business administration.
- Provide administrative support to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in HR, recruitment, administration or office coordination.
- Experience coordinating recruitment, onboarding and employee administration.
- Understanding of the National Employment Standards (NES) and Modern Awards.
- Experience using HRIS and payroll systems, ideally Employment Hero.
- Strong organisational, communication and time management skills.
- High attention to detail, discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Bonus Points If You Also Have
- Qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
- Experience in a legal, professional services or technology environment.
- Exposure to payroll administration and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience coordinating training, compliance or employee engagement initiatives.
- Familiarity with workplace health and safety requirements.
