Urgent requirement for Solution Architect - Contract - Perth

Skills required

- Proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end data and analytics architectures (ingestion, storage, processing, consumption).
n
- Minimum 10+ years in roles defined as a Solution Architect. Strong expertise in modern data platforms (cloud data lakes, data warehouses) and cloud ecosystems (Snowflake, Azure).
n
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines and integration patterns (batch and real-time).
n
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage, and metadata management.
n
- Ability to evaluate and select appropriate tools, technologies, and architectural patterns aligned to business needs.
n
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders.

Documentation & Communication

n

n
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality architectural artefacts (HLDs, LLDs, data models, integration diagrams, decision logs).
n




- Robust, clear, and structured documentation skills, ensuring artefacts are auditable and maintainable.
n
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
n
- Experience contributing to architecture governance forums and presenting design decisions.
n
- Maintain comprehensive documentation aligned with enterprise standards and lifecycle practices.
n

Additional Requirements

- TOGAF qualification (or equivalent). Familiarity with enterprise architecture practices, including standards, patterns, and review processes.
n
- Exposure to data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.
n
- Experience with data cataloguing, governance tools, and metadata platforms.
n
