Support the Safe Delivery of an Education Project
n
We're seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join our ACT team on a fixed-term contract through to December, with the potential for extension.
n
Working on a large education project approaching completion, you'll partner closely with site teams, subcontractors and project leadership to ensure safe work practices are maintained across commissioning, fit‐out and external works activities.
n
This is a hands‐on role for a safety professional who enjoys being out on site, building relationships and driving a positive safety culture.
n
Key Responsibilities
n

- Coordinate site inductions and onboarding activities
n
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety observations
n
- Review SWMS and monitor subcontractor compliance
n
- Support the implementation of project safety initiatives and procedures
n
- Assist with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions
n
- Maintain site safety records and project documentation
n
- Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture across the project
n
n
About You
n
n
- 3+ years' experience in a HSE Coordinator,
Safety Coordinator or similar role
n
- Construction industry experience is essential
n
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety requirements
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Ability to influence and engage subcontractors and site teams
n
- Proactive and practical approach to safety
n
