Job Description

Senior Psychologist / Clinic Lead – Child & NDIS

n

Join a genuinely supportive psychology team

n

CBT Professionals is looking for an experienced Psychologist to join our established Gold Coast team.

n

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, adolescents and families and wants to be part of a strong, collaborative and supportive team culture.

n

You will step into an established child and NDIS caseload, with no need to build your diary from scratch.

n

For the right person, there is also the opportunity to step into a Senior Psychologist / Clinic Lead role with protected time for clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring.

n

We are open to appointing at different levels depending on experience:

n

Registered Psychologist: approximately $60–$68 per hour + super

n

Senior Psychologist: approximately $68–$72 per hour + super

n

Senior Psychologist / Clinic Lead: up to $75 per hour + super

n

The role

n

Your clinical work will include evidence-based assessment and intervention with children, adolescents and families presenting with concerns such as:

n

ADHD and neurodevelopmental presentations

n

emotional and behavioural difficulties

n

anxiety and mood concerns

n

parenting and family support

n

NDIS-funded psychological intervention

n

more complex or treatment-resistant presentations

n

For candidates interested in the Clinic Lead component, responsibilities may also include:

n

supporting and mentoring psychologists

n

providing clinical consultation on complex cases

n

contributing to supervision and professional development

n

supporting high standards of clinical practice

n

assisting with onboarding and clinician development

n

contributing to a positive and connected team culture

n

working alongside our Director and management team on clinical matters

n

This is a clinical leadership role, not an administrative management role. Reception, HR, accounts and general clinic operations are supported by our established management team.

n

Strong team culture

n

We place a genuine emphasis on creating a workplace where psychologists feel supported, valued and connected.

n

Our clinicians collaborate, share knowledge, seek consultation and support one another with challenging cases. We want our psychologists to feel part of a team rather than working in isolation.

n

You will walk into an active referral stream and established client base.

n

Remuneration is offered at $60–$75 per hour plus superannuation, depending on experience and the scope of the role.

n

Protected leadership time

n

For those taking on Clinic Lead responsibilities, supervision, mentoring and clinical leadership are recognised as genuine parts of the role and allocated appropriate non-client time.

n

Our experienced reception,

Practice Management, Operations and HR teams support the day-to-day running of the practice so psychologists can focus primarily on clinical work.

n

Flexibility

n

We are seeking someone for 30–38 hours per week and are happy to discuss how those hours are structured.

n

About you

n

We would love to hear from you if you:

n

hold General Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA

n

have experience working with children and adolescents

n

are confident with behavioural and neurodevelopmental presentations

n

enjoy working collaboratively with families

n

value evidence-based psychological practice

n

are warm, approachable and team-focused

n

enjoy supporting colleagues or are interested in developing leadership skills

n

Experience working with NDIS participants is highly desirable.

n

Board-approved supervisor status is also highly desirable for the Clinic Lead component, although we are open to supporting the right senior psychologist to further develop their supervision and leadership skills.

n

About CBT Professionals

n

CBT Professionals is an established psychology practice providing psychological services across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

n

We are proud of our supportive team culture, robust clinical standards and focus on professional development.

n

If you are looking for meaningful clinical work, an established caseload, a genuinely supportive team and the opportunity to develop into senior clinical leadership, we would love to hear from you.
